Geography is Political Destiny

Some communities that carved their current political dynamics from the “white flight” of the 1970s offer an example of demographic power shifts. But many of the candidates running underestimate the impact of minorities that are now approaching a plurality of the electorate. Geography more than race underpins most of the electoral contest, and a relatively  simple cross-racial appeal would be a solid strategy.
